So, I created this blog literally almost 3 years ago. I will now continue to update it. Although I would hardly consider ourselves newlyweds anymore, this is still probably the best way to update family and friends on how life is going here at the Harmer House.
So, I cleaned the house! That was my biggest goal this past week. Below you will see the before and after pictures.

Yes, there are some boxes that make it look messy still. That's just because the next project had been started at this point: Clean out the storage closet, AKA operation gaping hole of death.

One of my biggest cleaning tips, the one that has saved me the most stress, Pick Your Battles. You will notice that I don't even bother organizing the kid's toys. As long as they end up in the 'toy corner' it's good enough for me.

My greatest accomplishment, possibly in my whole life, was cleaning the bathroom. There are lots of things you can't actually see in the pictures. Like that I scrubbed the toilet and the potty, bleached the bath toys, wiped the floors, and created a daily spray for the tub and shower. The daily spray was very simple. Some dish soap and some vinegar. We just spray everything after every shower. No big deal but big clean.
I don't have the before picture for these, but I'm sure your imagination will do just fine. Just picture peanut butter most places and you will be close.
We also rented a carpet cleaner with my sister and 2 other friends. The kids thought it was pretty cool.
